"Shantaram" è un romanzo semi-autobiografico dello scrittore australiano Gregory David Roberts, pubblicato per la prima volta nel 2003. Racconta la vita di Lin — un fuggitivo australiano condannato per rapina — che si rifugia in India, dove assume il nome di "Shantaram" (che significa "uomo della pace" o "dono della pace" in marathi, a seconda delle traduzioni). Il romanzo mescola avventura, riflessione filosofica, amore e violenza, offrendo una vivida descrizione di Bombay (oggi Mumbai) negli anni '80 e '90.
